If you hear the new 2 Chainz single, you might recognize some Louisiana flavor.

Chainz may be from the ATL but he definitely put on for the boot state while collaborating with Louisiana native Lil Wayne for his latest track titled "Money Maker." The track is reportedly part of "Collegrove 2" (an upcoming collaborative album with Lil Wayne) and the Atlanta rapper debuted it on this past Versuz battle with Rick Ross.

Since then, it has hit every platform and people are taking notice of the backing track.

Right out of the gate you hear the familiar horns as a marching band plays their rendition of Guy's R&B classic "Piece of My Love."

That marching band is the one and only Southern University "Human Jukebox" and the track that carries their sample behind hard-hitting drums was produced by Baton Rouge rapper and producer Playa Pizzle.

As a musician from Baton Rouge, it feels great to put the Jukebox out there like that, because from the 6th grade until I graduated I was in the marching band. Hopefully, people will notice the different styles of production coming from my city.

As an alumnus of an HBCU himself, 2 Chainz shouts out several institutions throughout the song including Southern University out of Baton Rouge and his alma mater of Alabama State University.

This is another great look for Southern University, who was featured in the Lizzo's video for "Good As Hell."

Check out 2 Chainz on the Breakfast Club detailing how the track came together plus his plans for another album by the end of the year.
