March 17th, all of us here in Acadiana get to celebrate all things Irish with "Patty In The Parc" at Parc International, made possible by Jameson Irish Whiskey. Wayne Toups, The Chee-Weez and Connie G with JB SAAX and The Band will be the entertainment for what has become on of the biggest St. Patrick's Day parties anywhere around. Although Lafayette hasn't made the list yet, wallethub.com has put together "2016's Best Cities For St. Patrick's Day Celebrations".

There are 33.1 million people in the U.S with Irish heritage. Some areas of the country have a higher concentration of folks with Irish roots, and that's where you're going to find some of the biggest celebrations on St. Patrick's Day. But, what cities can be considered the best places to get your Irish eyes a smilin?

Wallethub.com crunched the numbers, and here's how they did it. They looked for cities with longstanding St. Patrick's Day traditions like parades, average beer price, average cost of tickets to St. Patrick's Day events and even the average cost of potatoes in each city. You can get the full list of methodology HERE.

So that brings us to the question, who's doing the most for St. Patrick's Day around U.S.? Below is an interactive map for you to click around and find out. We've also included the top ten.
