22-Pound Cat Holds Family Hostage In Room [VIDEO]

A family in Portland, Oregon was held hostage in a room by a cat that had just attacked their baby. The only resort to get help was by calling 9-1-1, and that is precisely what one dad did when he and his family were barricaded in their own home.

The dad says he kicked the 22-pound cat after it attacked their baby, and that is when the cat became protective. When police arrived the cat scrambled to the kitchen and retreated to top of the refrigerator.

The cat was contained in cart, and the family is trying to decide if they want to relocated the cat.

Lesson learned here, be careful who you push around, or in this case kick around, because you never know when they will back you into a corner.
