Acadiana High School on Lockdown

Multiple texts have come in from parents to the KPEL Newsroom that the campus of Acadiana High School is on lockdown.

We are still waiting to hear back from the Scott Police Department, but our news partners at KATC confirm the lockdown.

BELOW is the body of the text message that was sent to AHS parents:

Scott PD was recently notified of a threat and we immediately locked down the campus. As soon as the situation is cleared we will resume classes as normal.
