‘Blossom’ Star Mayim Bialik Hospitalized After Terrible Car Accident, May Lose Finger

Mayim Bialik, known most for her star role in the sitcom 'Blossom' - and most recently for still breastfeeding her 3-year-old son - was in a serious car accident earlier this afternoon, and sources have told TMZ that the 'Big Bang Theory' actress is in danger of losing her finger.

Bialik was reportedly traveling alone around noon when she approached the corner of Hollywood Blvd. and Labrea and was struck by another vehicle filled with tourists. Emergency crews raced to the scene of the accident where there was "tons and tons of blood" everywhere.

Sources tell TMZ that the 36-year-old former 'Blossom' actress had major damage to her left hand, and her finger was almost completely severed.
