Bobbi Kristina Brown’s ex-boyfriend Nick Gordon was arrested on Sunday (June 11) for a domestic violence incident in Sanford, Fla.

11Alive is reporting that Gordon was arrested after police spoke with his girlfriend Laura Leal who alleges that Gordon punched her inside his home and held her captive on Friday night (June 9).

Leal told police Gordon broke her cellphone weeks prior and took her computer to prevent her from communicating with her sister for help.

According to the police report, Leal was only able to leave when she woke up Gordon's mother, who apparently also lives in the home. Gordon's mother drove Leal to her residence where her sister then took her to the hospital.

Police would later find Gordon at a club and arrest him on domestic violence and false imprisonment charges. Gordon denies hitting Leal and claims she attacked him. He also wants to press charges against her.

TMZ has posted photos of the victim's bruises allegedly caused by Gordon.

Back in November 2016, a judge ordered Gordon to pay more than $36 million to Bobbi’s estate, following her death her in July 2015. A judge delivered the ruling after Gordon repeatedly failed to meet court deadlines in the civil suit.

The $36 million included $15 million for present value of life, $13.8 million for pain and suffering and $1.37 million for assault and battery. The lawsuit had alleged Brown "died due to a violent altercation" with Gordon, "after which he placed her in a bathtub, unconscious, after he injected her with a toxic mixture."

Bobbi Kristina was Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's only child. Houston died in February 2012.
