Drew Brees is just 201 yards shy of breaking Peyton Manning's all time record for NFL passing yards. It would seem a foregone conclusion he'll eclipse that tonight when the Saints host the Washington Redskins in the Superdome. Brees is averaging more than 320 passing yards per game through the first 4 games of the season. Consider this. Running back Mark Ingram returns from a 4 game suspension tonight, and 2nd year back Alvin Kamara has been torching opposing defenses, both running and receiving. Brees told AP, "For me, it's focusing on the game, focusing on what to do to win the game, doing my job, being the best decision-maker that I can be, putting us in the best position to succeed and put us in a position to win the game." He has plenty of time to pursue that milestone, given this is only week  5. Don't be surprised if coach Payton decides to run the ball early, and often.
