The New York Post is reporting that the man who allegedly opened fire on a Brooklyn subway car has been arrested after he was spotted walking the streets of New York City.

Tahhan says that he notified police as soon as he saw who he believed to be was the Brooklyn subway shooter. Check out Tahhan's experience via @jjz1600 on Twitter below.

There is a bit of confusion as to who exactly called in the initial tip to authorities, as CNN is reporting that Frank James called in the tip himself to let authorities know he was at the McDonald's restraint.

Still - Tahhan is being regarded as a hero for his role in the arrest of Brooklyn subway shooting suspect, Frank James.

Brooklyn Subway Shooting Suspect Frank James Arrested by NYPD

Police had reportedly been searching for the 62-year-old for over 24-hours since the incident occurred. Authorities received a tip about the man being seen at a McDonald's restaurant in East Village. Reports say that Frank James was no longer near the McDonald's when they arrived, but police were able to track him down a few blocks away.
