Cannabis Products Store Set To Open In Youngsville

Houma based Aurora CBD and Hemp has announced plans to open a location in Youngsville. The company already operates stores selling cannabis and hemp products in Houma and in Baton Rouge.

The company's owners say they plan to have a discussion with local law enforcement leaders and agencies before opening. Their hope is to avoid any confusion about what is legal and what is not legal.

You might recall the owners of a Lafayette-based cannabis products store ran into legal issues when there was uncertainty over the legality of the products that they were offering.

Aurora CBD and Hemp has plans to carry a variety of CBD products including CBD oil and hemp seed oil. The company also has plans to stock hemp protein bars, CBD candies, and gummies, and they even have plans to offer a line of hemp clothing.

Principles with the business say they plan on hiring three to five individuals to work in the store. While the exact opening date has not yet been determined we do know the store's location will be at 209 Centre Sarcelle Boulevard, Suite 105. This location is near the roundabout at Chemin Metairie and East Milton Avenue.
