It’s been talked about for a while and it looks like it is finally going to happen. Quarantine length will shorten as soon as Tuesday evening.

 

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is expected to shorten the recommended length of quarantine after exposure to someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

The new guidelines allow people who have been in contact with someone who tested positive for the virus to quarantine for 10 days, or 7 days if they receive a negative test result. According to the Associated Press, the CDC presented the new guidance during a White House coronavirus task force meeting on Tuesday for final approval and they adjusted the quarantine days from 14 to 10.
