Cee-Lo Green has fired back after accusations that he may be homophobic after he tweeted that a reporter gave his, Green's, performance a bad review. After learning of the review, Green said that the reporter must be "gay."On his page, he wrote, "I respect your criticism, but be fair! People enjoyed last night! I'm guessing you're gay? And my masculinity offended you? Well, f*** you!!

After making such a comment, the R&B singer was accused of being homophobic, yet Green said that he was just in an "outrageous" mood the night he wrote that on this twitter. He would go on to say that he has no ill feelings towards the gay community.

"(I shouldn't) have to apologize for speaking my mind or defending my performance. I most certainly am not harboring any sort of negative feeling toward the gay community. I'm one of the most liberal artists that I think you will ever meet, and I pride myself on that. Two of the remaining members that I have on my team on 'The Voice' are proud and outspokenly gay."
