City Buffet Armed Robbery Suspect Being Sought

The Breaux Bridge Police Department is hoping that someone can identify the man they have on video robbing the City Buffet.

On February 3, 2019, at around 9 pm, the suspect entered the building as an employee was opening the back door of the business.

The suspect ended up getting cash from the restaurant's manager after putting the gun to the head of one of the employees.

Witnesses described the man as having caramel skin, and he could possibly be black or Hispanic, standing between 5'10" and 6'1 tall. The suspect was last seen wearing a hoodie, dark pants and tennis shoes.

From the video, the officers say the man appears to have a small gut on a stocky frame and may have an issue with his left leg, as he appears to limp.
