FDA Quickly Makes Recall For Top Selling Louisiana Snack
Louisiana is one of 21 states affected by a food item recall issued by the FDA. Once again, salmonella has contaminated a popular sweet treat that many families probably have in their refrigerators right now.
Nearly 30,000 batches of cookie dough were recalled last month over fears that it could cause food poisoning. The FDA has now classified this as a Class II risk, meaning it "can cause temporary or medically reversible adverse health consequences or where the probability of serious adverse health consequences is remote."
