Curfews Set for Parts of Acadiana During Hurricane Delta
Several parishes in Acadiana have set curfews ahead of Hurricane Delta.
Here is a list of those curfews:
A parishwide curfew will be in effect beginning at 12:00 p.m. Friday, October 9 until 6:00 a.m. Saturday, October 10. Only emergency and essential personnel are allowed to travel during the curfew. The curfew may be extended should conditions warrant.
The City of New Iberia has issued a city-wide curfew beginning Thursday, October 8 at 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. and on Friday, October 9, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. Emergency personnel will be allowed on the roadways during the set curfew times.
St. Landry Parish
A curfew is in effect at 12:00 p.m. Friday, October 9 through 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 10. Only essential workers responding to storm recovery should be on the roads during this time.
These are the only curfews set at this time. We will update this list should new information become available.
