Dave Chappelle has become iconic for his stand-up specials and contributions to comedy, but he's best known for his hilarious Chappelle's Show skits. One of his former skits in particular centered around Diddy's Making the Band series from 2002-2004, where he mocks one of Da Band's group members, Dylan Dili. Now, the two are finally coming face-to-face.

Last Friday (Aug. 11), Dave ran into the top five rapper(s) of all time at the House of Vans in New York City, where the two met for the first time. The pair captured footage of their meeting for Dylan's social media, where they imitated some of the famous lines from Chappelle's skit of him. The veteran comedian even helped promote Dili's upcoming album, Pain 2 Power, in the video.

"For those who grew up watching me... you know how epic and amazing this was. My first time meeting @chappellercm," Dylan wrote on Instagram. "My album is coming Sep 15th. I guess the stars lined up at the perfect time. Bless up to @wyclefjean@diddy and everyone else I reunited with this year. Now let's move forward. You get it now?"

While Dylan has released a slew of mixtapes over the last decade, his debut album has been prepped by him for the past few years.

Chappelle, on the other hand, has had an amazing comeback year, as he not only landed two Netflix specials, but he's also got a residency at Radio City Music Hall featuring a crazy array of special guests.
