Disabled Greyhound Has Traffic Implications For I-10
There is a traffic issue of the eastbound side of Interstate Ten this morning.
The eastbound outside lane of Interstate Ten near mile marker 121 is closed at this time.
Here is a statement from Louisiana State Police,
"Troop I units responded to a disabled Greyhound bus on I-10 eastbound near milepost 121. The disabled bus has fifty (50) passengers on board. Gerald's Heavy Duty is enroute to remove the bus and Greyhound has dispatched another bus, from New Orleans, to retrieve the passengers from the bus. Due to the location of the disabled bus, the outside lane of I-10 eastbound at milepost 121 will be closed until the passengers can be safely removed from the bus and the bus can be recovered."
Please proceed with caution in this area.
