Ellen Sends Strong Message To Haters Who Criticized Her For Sitting With President Bush
Ellen has a message for her critics.
After being criticized for sitting with President George W. Bush at the Cowboys-Packers game last weekend, Ellen DeGeneres had a sharp message for her haters.
Ellen and George W were sharing a laugh in Jerry Jones' suite and social media users were quick to point out the "unusual arrangement" of "a gay Hollywood liberal sitting next to a conservative Republican president." I think the quote that sticks out most from Ellen's epic clap back is one we should all live by.
Just because I don’t agree with someone on everything doesn’t mean that I’m not going to be friends with them
She ended her response with a reminder that her classic request to "be kind to one another" means to "be kind to everyone."
Simple, yet powerful. Well said, Ellen.
