Emergency Declared As Louisiana School Systems Cyber Attacked
Abcnews.com reports Gov. Edwards hasn't provided much information at this point as a matter of security. What did disclose is that the cyber attack currently involves the school of Sabine and Morehouse parishes and the City of Monroe.
The reason for the declaration as reported by abcnews.com is to "make state resources available to help local governments respond to the cyberattacks and stop future data loss."
The emergency declaration is in effect at least August 21.
