End of Snooki and Situation?

MTV announced plans last week for a Season 6 of their popular series, Jersey Shore. In those plans, the entire cast was making their return to the show.  Have plans changed? A source close to 495 productions tells TMZ, that MTV is now looking to phase out Nicole "Snooki Polizzi and Michael "The Situation" Sorrentino.

So who takes their place? Looks like MTV is looking for 2 fresh faces to join the Jersey shore Cast.  With Snooki being pregnant and Situation seeking substance abuse treatment, MTV felt the show could lost it's edge. Season 6 of Jersey Shore begins production this summer, so be on the lookout for your shot at joining the show!!
