The Erath 4th of July celebration will indeed be returning for 2021, officials announced on Wednesday.

In a Facebook post yesterday, organizers of the event announced that this year's festival will take place June 30th through July 4th.

As usual, the Erath 4th of July will feature carnival rides, live entertainment, an amazing fireworks display, and more, celebrating our nation's independence in the streets of downtown Erath.

The Erath 4th of July was first celebrated in 1936, making it one of the oldest Independence Day celebrations in Acadiana.
