Former LSU Gymnast Accuses Antonio Brown Of Sexual Assault
A lawsuit filed by a former LSU gymnast accuses New England Patriots receiver Antonio Brown of sexually assaulting her on three separate occasions.
In the complaint, filed in the Southern District of Florida and obtained by USA TODAY Sports Tuesday night, Britney Taylor, who was a gymnast at LSU from 2012-2013, accused Brown of assaulting her in 2017 and 2018.
Prior to attending LSU, Taylor, who is seeking damages in excess of $75,000, was a student at Central Michigan, where she met Brown.
The two lost touch but then reconnected in June of 2017, when Brown hired Taylor to assist in his physical training.
The alleged incidents took place after Brown hired Taylor.
Brown's lawyer, Darren Heitner, sent out a statement Tuesday night, stating that the receiver and Taylor were involved in a "consensual personal relationship. Any sexual interaction with Mr. Brown was entirely consensual."
Brown, a seven-time Pro Bowler, spent his first nine NFL seasons with the Steelers before being traded this offseason to the Raiders. After a weeks-long saga with Oakland, he was released Saturday, and he officially signed two days later with the Patriots.
