Soon we will all be able to purchase Girl Scout cookies online. The Girl Scout organization announced that first time ever, starting December 12th, their delicious treats will be available for purchase via the internet.

For years the Girl Scouts avoided selling their cookies online because they wanted the young girls to learn face-to-face skills. Being it is the 21st-century and more people are shopping online, the Girls Scouts have decided to dip into the world wide web and allow you and me to purchase their product online.

If you're wondering where the money will go, it will still go to support local troops. Being that local Girl Scout regions will handle orders and distribution, they will still benefit from the sales.

Starting December 12th you will be able to purchase the cookies at GirlScouts.org. Lets all support our local Girl Scouts by purchasing cookies, and lets all enjoy the taste of these wonderful treats.
