Girl Scout Cookies Can Be Ordered Online and Delivered
For the first time in history, the Girl Scouts are providing national delivery services. The Girl Scouts are joining forces with Grubhub, Inc. to help make sure that cookie sales for 2021 are done safely during the pandemic.
The delivery system will begin February 1, 2021. You will be able to order favorite Girl Scout cookies online. In select locations, pickup and delivery can also be arranged through the Grubhub app or website, according to Good Morning America. There is a cookie finder website or app to help people find out if contact-free deliveries are available in their area.
This is not only great for cookie fans, but it also helps local Girl Scouts hands-on experience in management since they are able to track and fill orders while managing inventory.
Grubhub has waived the fees for Girl Scouts and is offering FREE delivery for Girl Scout cookie orders through February 14, 2021 with a minimum purchase of $15, according to PennLive.
The new cookie for 2021 in select areas is the Toast-Yay, which is an icing-dipped cookie inspired by French Toast. The following favorites are also still available:
