Have people always done stupid things like this?

Watch as a guy clings to a subway car, which moves at a high rate of speed, from one station to the next.

The funniest part to me is that those inside the car couldn't care less about the guy outside the car---Welcome to New York!

I hope the guy made it to the next stop because this was not only a very dangerous stunt, it was also a very dumb one.
