On Friday (October 4), Jimmy Fallon surprised his audience (and guest Taylor Swift) when he revealed he had obtained footage of the pop star freaking out over a banana while high on painkillers post-Lasik surgery. The video unsurprisingly went viral, and Justin Bieber thought it was so funny he decided to reenact her epic meltdown in a since-deleted Instagram video, while his wife Hailey Baldwin laughs from behind the camera.

Swifties did not find the clip amusing and one particularly angry fan on Twitter (@myyylover) went after Baldwin, attacking her for her "flop" modeling career and for essentially being known for marrying Bieber.

The 22-year-old decided to respond to the rant last Sunday night (October 6), writing in a since-deleted tweet, "I never knew I could make somebody so upset.. truly I’m so sorry you’re THIS upset?! Lord have mercy I hope I’m never this upset about someone I don’t know!!"

Baldwin continued her thoughts, taking the high road and commending the fan for being so dedicated to someone they admire.

"listen. I think it’s awesome how passionate you are and how hard you ride for someone you’re a fan of, it’s beautiful how dedicated you are," she tweeted. "If there’s something I did to personally hurt you or offend you I’m sorry, it’s not my intention to upset you by any means."

She ended her message by telling the Swiftie not to expend energy on her since they don't know each other: "being angry at someone you don’t know does nothing for you. I know cause I been there.. all it’s gonna do is make you miserable," she advised. "Don’t let ME of all people get you feeling that way. Trust me, I’m not worth the energy, nobody should be worth that energy!"
