Happy MLK Day

Today, the nation marks the 25th Anniversary of the federal observance of Martin Luther King Jr.'s birthday. Dr. King would have been 82.

PhD scholar, Baptist minister, civil rights leader, gifted speaker, Nobel Peace Prize winner: by the time Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated in 1968 at age 39, he had already left his mark as a civil rights hero, fighting for what was right and empowering the powerless.
