Houston police are currently investigating a gruesome murder scene in which the victim was found decapitated and partially dismembered in his hotel room.

KSLA.com reports Houston police responded to a 911 call from The Palace Inn around 12:30 p.m. Monday, March 15.

While performing checkout rounds, Property Manager Raj Das discovered the body in one of the hotel’s rooms at approximately 11:30 a.m. yesterday (03/15/21).

Das tells KSLA.com he knocked on the door several times, but no one answered. At that point he entered the room to discover the body, decapitated and partially dismembered.

The victim is described by authorities as a Hispanic male in his 30s.

Manager Raj Das tells KSLA.com "No one busted down the door. There wasn’t any other activity. Anybody that entered the room entered with a key, and they let them in."

Houston investigators believe the murder happened between 9 p.m. and midnight Sunday, March 14. Police also believe some sort of altercation took place when two men and a woman arrived at the victim's hotel room.

Those three individuals are suspects in the gruesome murder.

The suspects were seen driving a black SUV and a blue Hyundai sedan, both with temporary license plates.

Police believe the woman served as a lookout for the other two men as they entered the room.
