A vehicle on the shoulder of the road on I-10E over Whiskey Bay was hit by an 18-wheeler, and the search is on for a person who reportedly fell into the water.

UPDATE: According to WAFB, a man who fell into the water after a crash on I-10E over Whiskey Bay has been found by a private fisherman and is being brought to seek medical attention along with two other people who were also involved in the accident.

I-10 Eastbound is closed at mile marker 130 due to the crash.

People are backed up on the westbound side of Interstate Ten as they are looking to see what is unfolding as well.
