In a World Full of Chaos, This Little Boy Makes People Smile

Imagine a 7-year old girl being stood up by her father for the Daddy/Daughter dance for the second year in a row. That’s what happened to Skylar. Her mom said she cried because she had her heart set on going. Then all of a sudden, someone steps in to save the day. Her 11-year old brother, Christian. The mother, Trelysia Hamerter, shared the story on her Facebook page. Hamerter said Skylar's brother offered to take her to the Daddy/Daughter dance after she was stood up twice by her father. He said he did it because he wanted his sister to know that she deserves a man keeping his word and making her feel special. Her sweet post ended with her saying “just know that I’m raising someone a GREAT HUSBAND one day”. She's a proud mom and she should be.

What a heartwarming story. In a world full of chaos, this little boy just made a lot of people smile.  Christian, you are such a great big brother. You have such a big heart. And Skylar, you're beautiful.
