Is the Mullet Hairstyle Here to Stay?
Mudflap, Neck warmer, Hockey Hair, Kentucky Waterfall, Soccer Rocker, or the Camero Cut. No matter what you call it, it describes the business and party haircut we all know and love: the mullet.
In its heyday, the mullet was worn by rockstars and sports stars during the '80s. Heck, even my mom had a curly one (don't tell her I told you this). Believe it or not, the mullet has been around for centuries! Back in the sixth century, it was called a Hunnic, short hair over the forehead and long over the back of the neck. The '80s and '90s brought back the haircut with the Beastie Boys adding it into their song and it being glamorized in pop music culture.
Now, it is making a move again as a "retro" style that, although it's still ugly, is the new choice for the younger generation everywhere. How long will the comeback last? I guess it just depends on how much this newer generation likes to party.
