The NFL is bringing the biggest game on the planet to New Orleans next year and we are already thinking about artists that need to be on stage that night.

The Halftime show of any Super Bowl is one of the biggest shows of the year and artists know that, thus that's why so many invest in the opportunity.

Just a few nights ago we saw Usher, along with others, take the stage in Las Vegas, and next year when the game is played in New Orleans, Louisiana the Halftime show needs some Louisiana "flavor" to it.

So, let's take a look at a few local artists that we wouldn't mind seeing on the big stage next year when the Super Bowl is played in the Superdome.

By the way, Super Bowl LIX is scheduled to be played on February 9, 2025, in NOLA. And yes, that's leading into Mardi  Gras. season, can you imagine the madness in the city?

Let's start with one of our local favorites and you've probably seen him perform at some festival here, and that's Wayne Toups. He has the music and energy to get a crowd going and his music is PURE Louisiana. What better person to represent the Louisiana culture?

Next, we'd like to nominate another local favorite and that's our good friend Cupid. Sure, he's got the hit song "The Cupid Shuffle," but the hottest line dance out now is "Flex" and Cupid would have the world all line dancing at once if we get him on the big stage next year!

Switching music genres here, we wouldn't oppose having Lainey Wilson on stage next February in New Orleans. This Grammy-winning artist is a great representative of our state and her audience would love to see her on the biggest stage of them all.

Next, how about the "Boss" himself"? Yes, we are talking about Keith Frank. This man is such a great representation of our state and his music on the big stage, with a special guest or two, would seep people off their couches for the Super Bowl.

Another artist who has represented Louisiana with pride for so many years is Marc Broussard. While he is no stranger to the big stage, Marc has a captive audience and has toured the world. A small taste of Lafayette at the Super Bowl in 2025 is a must.

Next, what would a Super Bowl Halftime Show in Louisiana be without Juvenile? Mr. Back That Thang Up would own the stage and it may be one show that fans talk about for years.

Now, let's get to the one that most would agree on, but FOX may cringe upon. Boosie on stage at the Super Bowl would be epic. When I play gigs and I play any song by Boosie, all ages love it and everyone dances to his sound. Get this man on the Super Bowl, NFL.

This list could go on for days, I mean we could include Lil Wayne, Mannie Fresh, Chris Ardoin, Tim McGraw, Aaron Neville, and many more, but this is a start.

Now, let's just hope that the NFL does allow for some "Louisiana Flavor" in next year's Super Bowl Show.
