Trump Supporter Trolls Jim Cantore During Hurricane Coverage in Florida
The Weather Channel is up and down the Florida coast as many prepare for the arrival of Hurricane Helene and Jim Cantore is on the scene.
Cantore has been in the Lafayette, Louisiana news a lot as of late after his girlfriend, who is from Broussard, announced publicly that they are dating. Much of Acadiana was shocked to learn that the famous meteorologist is dating someone from South Louisiana.
Well, duty has called and Jim Cantore is doing what he's done for 114 storms, putting himself in the path of another hurricane. So no, at this time he is not in Louisiana, but he is where he loves being and that is in the path of another hurricane.
While on LIVE television from the Florida coast, Cantore was reporting on what is to come in the location where he is positioned and a man nearby took advantage of the cameras.
During the LIVE report, a Florida man walked up behind Cantore with a Donald Trump flag, waving it proudly so that the television audience could see who he was supporting in the upcoming presidential election.
A member of the Weather Channel crew intervened and did his best to shield the man and the flag from the cameras, but he was a bit too late.
Here's the viral moment of "Florida Man" supporting former President Trump during Jim Cantore's reports on Hurricane Helene, which is expected to be a major storm by the time it reaches landfall.
In a separate report, another supporter of Donald Trump showed up, this time without a flag, but he did use his voice to express his support for the former president.
Now, this isn't the first time we've seen a Trump supporter crash a weather report. Do you remember this man showing up on television while a meteorologist was reporting from Louisiana?
