Coffee Creamer Popular in Louisiana Recalled by FDA

If you're checking stories in your bed in Tallulah, Terrebonne Parish, or Tickfaw then you probably haven't had your morning cup of coffee. Here in Louisiana, we seem to like Community Coffee as our "wake-up beverage" of choice.

Of course, there are those fancy souls in Baton Rouge, Lake Charles, and Alexandria that have to get their morning jolt from whatever that creature is that appears in the Starbucks logo. That's a two-tailed siren according to the Starbucks folks. They say it's a mythical creature but to use, it looks like good eatin' if prepared like crawfish.

Actually, if you go out for coffee today, you're probably in a better place than those of us who will brew, drip, or pop in a coffee cartridge at home. There has been a major recall of a wildly popular coffee creamer product that many of us use in our morning cup of Joe.

Louisiana is one of 31 states across the country where the FDA Recall advisory has been issued for two popular flavors of creamer. Please check your refrigerator to see if you have any Hazelnut or Cinnabon Classic Cinnamon Roll flavored creamer distributed by International Delight.

The product that is being recalled is the 32-ounce bottles that include the following information.

Hazelnut International Delight Coffee Creamer:

The product has a best-used-by-date of July 3, 2025.
The recall number is: F-0626-2025
The UPC is: 0 41271 02565 2

More than 75,000 bottles of the coffee creamer products are being recalled over concerns about spoilage and illness. Those complaints had been received by Danone, the parent company of the International Delights brand. 

If you have some of the creamer involved in this recall in your home or office refrigerator you are encouraged to dispose of it as soon as possible and return the empty container to where you bought it for a refund or replacement. You may also contact the company directly for a refund or replacement compensation.
