New Orleans Saints Release Drone Tour of the $550 Million Caesars Superdome Renovations

The New Orleans Saints kick off their 2024 regular season this Sunday, September 8 against the Carolina Panthers at home. And when that happens, they'll be doing so in the newly renovated Caesars Superdome.

Fans should notice a difference in the arena as work on the four-year $550 million renovation project is finally done.

The Dome began a makeover in 2020, and the finishing touches are just in time for Super Bowl 59, which will be held in New Orleans.

So, what does it all look like? The New Orleans Saints posted a pretty spectacular drone video on X of the renovated Caesars Superdome, which actor Wendell Pierce narrated.

The renovations will help improve the game day experience for anyone who attends everything from bowl games, College Football Playoff Championship games, the Bayou Classic, and the Louisiana State High School Championship, along with concerts and conventions.

• New premium spaces: New premium spaces were added to the stadium.
• New bars: Two new 40-yard bars were installed.
• New food and beverage service: The food and beverage service was transformed with back-of-house upgrades.
• Improved accessibility: The stadium was made more accessible for guests with sensory issues and disabled fans.
• New escalators: New escalators were installed.
• New entrances, concourses, and kitchens: The stadium's entrances, concourses, and kitchens were overhauled.
• New Wi-Fi system: A Wi-Fi system was installed.
• New standing-room-only platforms: Standing-room-only platforms were added.
• Field-level end zone boxes: Field-level end zone boxes were added.
• New video board: A new video board-scoreboard-message board system was installed.
