Popular Lafayette News & Sports TV Reporter Announces Departure

A popular face on Lafayette, Louisiana television station KATC-TV 3 has announced she is leaving.

News and sports reporter Meagan Glover took to social media to reveal that August 15, 2024, will be her last day at the station.

A Shreveport native, Glover graduated from the University of Louisiana in 2017.

While in school, she began working in Lafayette for KADN and did so for two years.

She then joined KLAX in Alexandria, Louisiana, covering everything from local sports to the historic 2020 LSU National Championship season.

Glover has been part of the KATC team for the last three years, primarily covering sports alongside Jamarcus Fitzpatrick and Elijah Nixon.

As you can see in Glover's goodbye post, she did not indulge as to what is next for her career. It appears that she'll be taking a little time off before her next work adventure.
