‘Banana Ball’ Returning to Louisiana as Savannah Bananas Announce 2025 Schedule

The Savannah Bananas baseball team has announced its 2025 Banana Ball World Tour and there is good news for Louisiana fans as one of the offshoot teams has a stop in the Bayou State next August.

As part of next year's tour, the Savannah Bananas will hit 18 Major League Baseball stadiums across 40 cities and 25 states.

Where in Louisiana will Banana Ball be playing in 2025?

While the Savannah Bananas won't be coming to Louisiana next year, their affiliate team, The Party Animals, will play Alex Box Stadium in Baton Rouge for two games from August 8-9.

Those games will be against a new team, The Texas Tailgaters.

This will mark the second year in a row that the Banana Ball World Tour will stop at LSU's baseball field. The Savannah Bananas team played two games on March 14-15, 2024 there.

The visit to Baton Rouge will be only one of three college stops for the Banana Ball Tour in 2025. The other two are Baum-Walker Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Davis Wade Stadium in Mississippi State.

In addition to the 18 Major League Baseball stadiums and 3 College stadiums, the Savannah Bananas will be playing some football stadiums, like Clemson's Memorial Stadium, Nissan Stadium, home of the Tennessee Titans, and Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, home of the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte FC.

The Savannah Bananas will also be playing 30 home games in front of a sold-out, 5,000-person crowd at a newly renovated Grayson Stadium in Savannah, Georgia.

How do I get tickets for any of the games, including the ones in Baton Rouge?

If you tried getting tickets for the Baton Rouge games last year, you know how tough it can be to get tickets.

Tickets aren't on sale yet, but you must join the Ticket Lottery for a shot. You can do so until November 1, 2024, at www.bananaball.com/tickets.
