James Corden’s a Disastrous Taylor Swift Background Dancer on ‘Late Late Show’
James Corden's latest "Take a Break" segment has proven to be a huge chore for Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato and more of music's biggest stars.
In a new Late Late Show clip, Corden offers his services to Los Angeles' iconic The Forum by temporarily taking over for a hard-working manager who's in need of a rest. But Corden takes the position's typical responsibilities and runs with them, eventually proving to be a huge liability for the performers who are waiting backstage to perform at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball concert.
In the clip above, Corden pisses off Ed Sheeran's security team, butchers Niall Horan's rider and devises a disaster handshake with Lovato in less than 15 minutes. Finally, he gets word that one of Swift's backup dancers is out of commission, and so, he swoops in to assume the spot.
And yes, he does so while sporting a fishnet top.
Corden proceeds to make a mockery of rehearsal, angering Swift and her fellow artists to the point of madness. Finally though, Corden sneaks away for a bathroom break, at which point Swift moves to spare her dancers further pain.
"Go now," she says as she motions them to nearby escape routes. "Run, run, do not walk."
