According to an update from Nichole Jagneaux, evidence does not look good after her son's car was found in New Iberia today (Jul. 17) but she is still asking the public to help with any information that could lead her to her son, Javion Batiste.

According to Jagneaux's Facebook post, Javion Batiste was last seen at approximately 7:30 PM Saturday (Jul. 15), and since then, there has been no contact or sightings of him. The concerned mother attached a photo of his car, a damaged 2000 Buick Regal with license plate 203FOZ, as additional information to aid in the search efforts.
Javion Batiste's last known location was New Iberia, as indicated by the latest ping from his cell phone. Jagneaux tells us that a missing persons report was filed with Lafayette Police but they are in touch with New Iberia authorities as well.
The exact circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain unclear, intensifying the urgency to find him. Jagneaux, desperate for any leads, implores anyone with information to contact her immediately.
