Johnson’s Boucanière Closing for Two Weeks After Employee Tests Positive for COVID-19
Yet another blow to a local restaurant as Johnson's Boucanière in Lafayette has closed its doors after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.
The restaurant made the announcement via its Facebook page on Saturday that they woul be closed for the next two weeks. They said that even though the employee hadn't been at work for the past week, they would close out of an abundance of caution to give their employees adequate time to get tested.
As a result, Johnson's Boucanière will be closed until July 13.
This closure follows several area restaurants that have had to close temporarily recently, including Texas Roadhouse, Prejean's, and La Fonda among others.
