Jonathan Lucroy and John Coker: Teammates Forever

A few weeks ago as the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns were gearing up for Alumni Weekend, I was asked if I had a favorite Cajun player of all time.

I didn't hesitate.

It's John Coker.

He's the best defensive center fielder I've ever seen.  He's one of the finest people I've ever covered.  And, his story of what happened to him in Afghanistan and his fighting spirit has only solidified everything I've always admired about him.

The Texas Rangers put together this video showing the bond between Coker and former Cajuns and now Rangers' catcher Jonathan Lucroy.

Grab a tissue.  No...better grab the whole box.
