At a recent Texas Rangers baseball game, lighting and thunder had players, umpires, and fans running for shelter. Watch what happens lightning strikes WAY TOO CLOSE to the stadium, and pay close attention to the first baseman. Having been in stadiums while severe weather approaches, it has always been one of biggest fears....A Lightning Strike!! Well in Arlington, TX. some fans lived through that fear. I can only assume that this lighting strike was unpredicted because baseball officials are pretty darn good at monitoring threatening weather.
