"We have already seen some heavier squalls making their way through St. Mary, St. Martin, and eastern Iberia parishes this afternoon. We'll likely see off and on rain bands make their way across Acadiana through the rest of the afternoon and into tonight.

As mentioned, the bulk of the action and heavy rainfall will stay well east of the area into portions of SE Louisiana and coastal Mississippi/Alabama. We may pick up an additional 1-3" of rainfall through Tuesday. Again, higher amounts staying well off to our east."
