Kardashians Shuttering Dash Stores After 12 Years of Business
The Kardashian sisters are shuttering Dash after 12 years of business, Kim announced via her app on Thursday (April 19).
The two remaining storefronts — one in Miami, and the other in Los Angeles — will be closed as of May 31, per Radar Online. They previously shuttered their New York boutique in 2016, citing high rent.
"We’ve loved running DASH, but in the last few years we’ve all grown so much individually," Kim wrote. "We’ve been busy running our own brands, as well as being moms and balancing work with our families. We know in our hearts that it’s time to move on."
Dash, which launched in 2006 in Calabasas, has frequently been featured on Keeping Up With the Kardashians over the years. It even spawned a short-lived spinoff show, Dash Dolls, in 2015, which ended after only one season.
The boutiques, however, have weathered their fair share of problems: A woman was arrested at their West Hollywood store in 2017 after threatening employees with a machete, and theft at the New York location was documented on KUWTK. The Kardashians, meanwhile, have moved on to other ventures — Kim with her cosmetics line, KKW Beauty, and Khloe with her Good American jeans.
"We love our DASH Dolls and are so grateful for the amazing memories—and we have to give a special thanks to the DASH employees and all of the incredible fans and customers who have supported us throughout the years!" Kim concluded. "We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you to everyone!”
