Keri Hilson Sparks Outrage With Amy Winehouse Joke On Twitter

Keri Hilson is taking some heat after he made a joke about the deceased Amy Winehouse on Twitter. Hilson posted this picture in the article, with an Amy Winehouse lookalike, and said, "*gasp* Amy Winehouse resurrected to party w/ (with) me!!! (seriously, uncanny resemblance)."

As predicted, several of those who follow Hilson rebelled forcing the singer to come back on to twitter within one hour to retract her previous tweet. She came back and said, "Come on, I mean no harm. All due respect. But really the resemblance freaked me out. This was simply the best tribute ever. #RIPAMYWINEHOUSE"

Feeling guilty about her initial post, Hilson came back to twitter for a second time and said this, ""Bedtime. I apologize 2 anyone who might've taken it the wrong way. As a fan, I thought it was cool that she dressed up to honor Amy.. I had no ill intent, but I understand how it appears insensitive...my bad twitterville. For real. Good night :)"

While her initial tweet may have been out of line or insensitive, it is apparent that Keri Hilson had no malicious intent. Reading into her later tweets makes it obvious that she has the ultimate respect for the later Winehouse, and had no ill intent.
