Louisiana Restaurants Featured on Gordon Ramsay’s New Season of ‘Kitchen Nightmares’
(New Orleans, Louisiana) - Louisiana folks from Carencro to Ponchatoula take food very seriously. Homecooked meals and fresh seafood are at the core of our culture, especially in New Orleans.
Typically, when food and Louisiana are in the same sentence, it's always good, but Gordon Ramsay had something to say about the restaurants he visited this season on Kitchen Nightmares that are far from good.
The new season of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares kicked off in New Orleans, Louisiana.
In the promo for the season premiere, the celebrity chef says his goal was to get these New Orleans restaurants ready to host Super Bowl LIX.
The first episode aired Tuesday, January 7th, and is streaming on HULU as of Wednesday. Every episode will be available to stream the day after it airs that week.
New Orleans Restaurants Gordon Ramsey Featured On "Kitchen Nightmares"
Iberville Cuisine & Oyster Bar
This was Gordon Ramsay's first stop where he refused to eat the raw oysters, saying, "I mean, oysters are dangerous enough, but honestly, I just recently had my sixth kid, Jesse James. I’d love to be around to celebrate his first birthday, so I’ll pass on that one."
Now that the restaurant has had a Kitchen Nightmares makeover, the oysters should be Gordon Ramsay-approved.
So far only one episode has aired so we don't know what scary things were discovered in these other Louisiana restaurants yet.
