Lafayette Mayor-President Josh Guillory Updates Parish-Wide Curfew In Response To Hurricane Delta Landfall
There will be a parish-wide curfew going into effect on Friday in response to Hurricane Delta.
UPDATE: After closely monitoring the storm Lafayette Mayor-President Guillory has adjusted times for the parish-wide curfew.
After updated forecasts from the National Hurricane Center and after consulting with the Mayors, Chiefs of Police, and Chiefs of Fire in Lafayette Parish, Mayor-President Josh Guillory has decided to adjust the parish-wide curfew. It will now begin at 4:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2020 and end at 8:00 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2020. Only emergency and essential personnel are allowed to travel during the curfew. The curfew may be extended if the situation warrants.
