An event is organized in Lafayette, Louisiana, on Sunday, November 15 at 4:00 pm, in support of the victims of the events in Paris last Friday.

Mayor-President Joey Durel and Lafayette Consolidated Government, the Consulate of France for Acadiana, CODOFIL, Alliance Française de Lafayette, Festival International de Louisiane, Festivals Acadiens et Creoles, Louisiane Acadie, Action Cadienne, Fondation Richard Guidry, are organizing a gathering on Sunday, November 15 at 4:00 pm, in front of Lafayette International Center, at the corner of Lee Avenue and Jefferson Street, Downtown Lafayette.

This event is organized to show the support and solidarity of the Lafayette area community to the People and City of Paris, and all of the victims of last Friday’s dastardly attacks.

Everyone is asked to please come and participate in this event. If possible bring homemade placards or signs showing our support and solidarity to the People of Paris.
