LSU Addresses Olivia Dunne’s Paid Advertisement Post
She has a following and LSU is quite aware of it.
LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne, who may be the most influential athlete on the campus at LSU, recently released a paid advertisement post on social media and LSU isn't too happy about it.
The paid post, which she makes thousands of dollars off of, promotes the company, Caktus.ai.
This site is targeting students, both in high school and college, and it is used to create essays and complete other assignments for students.
WGNO posted this message from LSU, addressing software very similar to the one Dunne is promoting on social media.
Here's the message from LSU:
"Technology, including AI, can foster learning and creativity. At LSU, our professors and students are empowered to use technology for learning and pursuing the highest standards of academic integrity. However, using AI to produce work that a student then represents as one’s own could result in a charge of academic misconduct, as outlined in the Code of Student Conduct. Livvy Dunne is the highest-paid female athlete in collegiate sports, and it isn't even close.
Currently, the LSU star has 3.7 million followers on Instagram.
