LSU didn't play last week, while the top three teams from a week ago all won, so, unsurprisingly, the Tigers stayed put in the latest Associated Press Top 25 college football poll, which was released on Sunday night.

LSU, who is 7-1 on the season, play host to the top-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday night at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge.

The Tigers are 14-and-a-half point underdogs, the biggest home underdog they've been since 1999, when they lost to Florida, 31-10.

The top five in this week's AP Top 25 poll remains unchanged, with Alabama leading the way, followed by Clemson, Notre Dame, LSU, and Michigan at 2-5, respectively.

The rest of the top ten consists of Georgia, Oklahoma, Ohio St., UCF, and Washington St. at 6-10, respectively.

Kentucky, West Virginia, Florida, Penn St., and Texas fill the 11-15 slots, while Utah, Houston, Utah St., Iowa and Fresno St. round out the top 20.

Finally, at 21-25 its Mississippi St., Syracuse, Virginia, Boston College, and Texas A&M.
