Dying Man With Colon Cancer Throws Himself a ‘Death Party’
He may be facing death, but a man with terminal cancer was certainly the life of the party.
Canadian Dennis Solet recently threw himself a "death party" as a way to say goodbye to his friends and family.
Solet was diagnosed with colon cancer 12 years ago and has decided to stop treatment, so what better way to thank everyone who's had an impact on him:
It gives me a chance while I still have my health, to say goodbye while I still can and be able to look people in the eye and tell them, 'Hey, you were a part of my life, I love ya, and thanks.'"
Solet's party drew 300 people. He even sang, showing a zest for life that everyone should have.
How much time Solet has left is a mystery. Back when he was initially diagnosed 12 years ago, he was given six months to live, but he's still here.
